Golfer narrowly missed by plane crash in California: video | Airlines

A small plane crash-landed in a golf course in Sacramento, California, narrowly missing an unassuming golfer.

The accident occurred on August 4, 2024 at around 13:15 local time.

Reports say that the aircraft, a Piper PA28, experienced an engine failure shortly after takeoff from Sacramento McClellan Airport (MCC) and had to make an emergency landing at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.

Footage from the golf course’s surveillance camera caught the moment the small plane crash landed, startling the golfer who can be seen jumping away as the plane careened towards the direction of the club’s pro shop, where it came to halt.
